Terri Fisher is 2018's recipient of the Donald R. Seawell Volunteer of the Year Showstopper Award. What an honor for Terri to receive this very prestigious award!
Outgoing (Denver Center Alliance) president, Pam Sletten, reported that the DCA raised well over $1 million through fundraisers this past year. Ten committees with over 100 women work tirelessly to promote, sponsor, advocate and further the cause for the theater. Sletten had the distinct pleasure of introducing Terri Fisher, the 2017-2018 recipient of the Donald R. Seawell Volunteer of the Year Showstopper Award. According to Sletten, “Terri had my back all year. She constantly checked in with me to make sure I was doing OK and was always there to pitch in and help out. Terri made DCA better, and she made me better.”

Al and Terri Fisher were awarded the 2017 Community Angel Award by Bessie's Hope
Al and I are truly blessed to have been surrounded by our family and friends at the Bessie's Hope Bridge of Love Gala as we were presented with the 2017 Community Angel Award. We are both honored and grateful. To Sharon Brandrup and Linda Holloway, thank you for selecting Al and me as you 2017 recipients.
We would like to recognize this year's chair, Jan Hammond and to thank her from the bottom of our hears for all she did for us and Bessie's Hope and for her contributions to this successful event. Jan hosted just about every meeting from kick-off to addressing the invitations to the gift basket party and overseeing the silent- and live auctions. Hats off to the incredible steering committee, the auction co-chairs, Nancy Rawls, and Pam Silverberg, Doug Tisdale, MC and auctioneer, Kay Ray for the décor, Stev ie Crecelius for the photos and to all the sponsors for your generous contributions to help make this gala a true success. Your time and energy, and donations were truly amazing! Thank you to the band Syndicate Denver.
