These priceless images serve as an important step in the healing recovery for bereaved families.
Through further engagement in the organization, such as the NILMDTS Remembrance Walk and online support, families become a part of a compassionate and supportive community. Parents gain a sense of inclusiveness, alleviating the alienation and perception of being alone in their pregnancy or infant loss journey.
As a mother, Terri is very sensitive to the bond between mother and child and understands how the loss of a child is so devastating. For this reason, 5 Star is an avid sponsor and has provided, at the company's expense, the audio production for the Remembrance Walk in Littleton each year.

Simply raise a minimum of $1500 in pledges and rappel down one of Denver’s most prominent skyscrapers. Whether you are an accomplished climber or a first-time rappeller whose only use of a carabiner is as a keychain, this event is a thrill of a lifetime. An exclusive event for the Cancer League of Colorado, Over the Edge, gives participants a life-changing opportunity to rappel 29 stories while raising money for Colorado-based cancer research.
Unique to non-profits, Cancer League of Colorado has no paid staff and no offices. All operating expenses are covered by membership dues and our volunteer staff. Cancer League of Colorado now has more than 400 volunteer members who share the commitment to fight cancer and support cancer research. 100% of all donations go directly to cancer research and cancer patient services in the state of Colorado. Since 1985, Cancer League has donated over $15 million in grants toward cancer research and services.

Our mission is to secure the cure or control of cancer by raising funds to support innovative cancer research and cancer-related services in the state of Colorado.
Raising Money for Cancer Research
Cancer League of Colorado, Inc. was founded in 1969 by five women whose families were affected by cancer. Their individual heartache sparked a shared mission to raise money for research and patient care. Today, we are at the forefront of discovery into the causes of many types of cancer – and the most effective therapies – through our partnership with the University of Colorado Cancer Center.

St. Anthony Health Foundation supports the life-changing programs and services of St. Anthony Hospital. Your gift will save lives, restore health and nurture the health of struggling families, right here in your community, and beyond, making it possible to continue the mission put into motion by our founding Sisters of St. Francis more than 120 years ago.
We extend the healing ministry of Christ by caring for those who are ill and by nurturing the health of the people in our communities.
We believe giving is part of healing, and the value of philanthropy is not just in dollars raised, but also in the emotional investment people make with us when we help connect them to our mission. Every gift counts. Thank you for your gracious generosity.

The Epilepsy Foundation of Colorado leads the fight to overcome the challenges of living with epilepsy and to accelerate therapies to stop seizures, find cures and save lives.
We are a non-profit, charitable agency, designated as a 501 (c) 3 organization by the Internal Revenue Service. Donations to the Foundation are tax-deductible as allowed by law.
Our History
When her grandchild was diagnosed with epilepsy in 1964, Dr. Harriet Hunter incorporated the Colorado Epilepsy Association because there were no support services available for youth with epilepsy. Working out of her basement, Dr. Hunter and a group of loyal, dedicated volunteers began providing counseling and support to those impacted by epilepsy, while also educating the public about seizure disorders. As the organization’s reputation grew, permanent staff was hired, office space was secured and employment and youth programs were added to meet the growing needs of people with epilepsy. In 2000, we expanded our scope of services to areas in western, southern and northern Colorado.
Terri has been an ardent supporter of the Epilepsy Foundation of Colorado and its many fundraising programs including Denver Strides 5K Run and the Color of the Mind Gala. She has been an entertainment sponsor and has provided financial support.

In Colorado, one woman dies every day from breast cancer. At Susan G. Komen® Colorado, we believe that all Coloradans deserve equal access to quality breast cancer care to reduce their risk of dying from this disease.
With the support of breast cancer survivors, co-survivors, educators, physicians, oncologists, and the Colorado community, Komen Colorado has raised and invested more than $42 million into local hospitals and clinics to help pay for breast cancer screenings, diagnostic tests, and treatment for women and men who have no other resources.
Funds have also supported breast cancer patients by covering the cost of non-medical expenses, such as rent, utilities, and food, to ensure those facing the disease can concentrate on fighting and beating it.
The Susan G Komen Race for the Cure continues to be a well-attended event in the Denver area. 5 Star has provided the entertainment for these events.
